From the late 1950s to the early 1970s, Leonard Bernstein’s “Young People’s Concerts” inspired generations of music-lovers, both young and old, while he was Music Director of the New York Philharmnic. In the spirit of Bernstein’s popular series, as part of the worldwide Leonard Bernstein at 100 celebration, new NSO Artistic Advisor Ben Folds hosts this enlightening music-filled performance for children and their families featuring the National Symphony Orchestra and special guests to be announced.
