Leonard Bernstein (1918-1990) is a legend of American music. Composer, conductor, pianist and educator, Bernstein captivated and energized a generation of music lovers. Teddy Abrams leads the LO in a survey of Bernstein’s music from his first symphony, composed in 1942 and nicknamed “Jeremiah” from the biblical nature of the text, to his Broadway musicals that are loved by audiences around the world.
