Audiences have come to expect the unexpected from ACB’s original ballets. This August, ACB Artistic Director Lincoln Jones premieres two ballets which are as different as night and day. Candide Overture celebrates Leonard Bernstein's centennial with a tribute to his sunny, ebullient, rhythmic dance music. Transfigured Night explores the haunting yet radiant inward world of two lovers as the woman confesses a secret.
